About Studio and East Art International

As an art educator and a senior member of AAPSF (Alliance Arts Providers of San Francisco), we provide art classes for youth here in the San Francisco Bay Area. After 20 years, we continue to pursue this goal and bring it to a new level of fulfillment.

Ms. Luming Zhou, the director of East Art Studio, began her mission in 1990. As her studio grew, so did her desire to bring art into the lives of many young children. Throughout the years, East Art Studio has become known for its youth art education. There are currently hundreds of students taking art classes from our studios. Ms. Zhou also works with a group of art teachers who are all very experienced and passionate in teaching art to young students. Introduce Teachers

In 2003, 2006 and 2010, our studio and teachers were honored by the National Arts & Writers Scholastics organization with Certificates of Recognition. A number of outstanding students have also received awards, including those from SF Young Arts Festivals, Young at Art, Bay Area Children's Art Exhibition, National Students' Art Program, and National Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.
We thank our friends, students, and parents for all the support! We hope to continue building our dream together in educating our youth and showing others the endless possibilities of art.

Not only does our team work with the youth, we also serve as an art dealer and art exchange association. Since 1996, we present and promote the artwork of both local and international artists to the U.S. A few of these famous artists include Ting Shao Kuang, Liu Yi, Shi Fu Guo, Pascal Tao, Qian Shou Tie, Liu Yong Ming, and Yun Nan School. For the past 15 years, we had been running for the
North America Arts Exchange Association and have organized over 30 art shows under the title "East Meets West" with China's Art Associations. In addition, the studio has a project that studies and researches for Chinese artwork and cultural heritages, providing Chinese antique appraisals for local collectors.

As artists, we continually explore our field of vision in practicing our skills on traditional painting as well as contemporary work here in San Francisco. By doing so, we¡¯ve recently expanded our studio to two new locations. One is in the center of the Sunset district (on Noriega Street/28th Avenue) called East Culture Studio and the other one is in Shanghai, China called Shanghai East Art Studio. and also we are cooperating with Shanghai Culture Communicat LLC. Therefore, we decided to combine our studios under the new name of East Art International. We will continue to use the former name of East Art Studio for our main art class studio location on 1046 Irving Street.
